Adolescent Grief Support Group Signup

The Adolescent Grief  Support group has been designed to aid adolescents and youth through learning to cope with the loss of a loved one.  We understand that adolescents grieve differently than adults and have constructed this program around their specific needs.  We continue to work in concert with the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Boards SchoolsPlus Coordinator to be able to offer this program.  We believe that students need to see that they are not alone, and we strive to offer a safe place to share their grief.  Sometimes the loss of a loved one can make an adolescent feel like nobody understands what they are going through.  This is one of the main ideas behind offering this program in a group environment where adolescents can be with their peers.

**This groups requires registration and is offered at no cost. In order for the group to go ahead, a certain number of participants must be registered first.
