Our mission is to provide services to help people cope with loss and grief as the result of the death of someone they love.
Bereaved Families is a registered non-profit organization serving the people of Nova Scotia who are grieving as the result of the death of someone they love. Since its inception in 1990, Bereaved Families has helped thousands of people by providing a wide range of programming designed to help people move through and beyond grief.
Bereaved Families is a registered non-profit organization that operates with a volunteer board of directors, staff and facilitators. Programs and services include walk-in support, monthly Support & Share Sessions, Grief-Specific programs, Trauma programs, Adolescent Grief Support as well as Resilience and Well-being sessions.
